BEER IS WELCOME IN THIS TOWN!

 

around the 1920's the vagrant community in the usa developed a system of symbols as a way of passing vital information to each other. one such symbol in particular, consisting of a box with a diaganol line rising to the right, denoted that alcohol was welcome in the town where it appeared. 

 

we believe that it is fitting tribute to the vagrants of old and their sense of sharing that our logo and indeed our slogan "beer is welcome in this town" is based upon this very symbol, and wherever it appears you will know that craft beer is welcome.
